Extra-Curricular Activities: Lunchtime Clubs

Lunchtime Club
Children have loads of opportunities for energetic, creative, educational, fun and stimulating activities during lunchtimes. We employ 10 members of staff to supervise lunchtimes because we believe that having a fantastic break leads to a great afternoon of learning. We want children to look forward to lunchtimes and use them as a time to develop their social skills, resilience and sporting ability.

Pupil leaders play a significant role in leading activities at lunchtime, supervised by members of staff. They plan and deliver sessions with enthusiasm and expertise – we are very proud that children are able to lead in this way.

Lunchtime opportunities include: Key Stage 1 girls’ football, Key Stage 2 girls’ football, Key Stage 1 boys’ football, Key Stage 2 boys’ football, cross country, table-tennis, go-karting, basket-ball, handbells, recorders, art, eco, bird club, outdoor learning, Wii fitness, science, tug of war, lego, enterprise, knitting, digital leaders, computing, leadership and guinea pig care.

We love lunchtimes!
